MBA - Master of Business Administration

The Master of Business Administration program is designed to offer the graduates of undergraduate programs in business an opportunity to obtain a higher proficiency in management, business skills and decision making which would enable them to carry out managerial responsibilities in both the private and public sectors.

The accelerated 16-month-program is organized into cohorts, meaning the students are organized into groups that go through the program together. The MBA  degree offers a 36 semester hour concentration (12 courses) in General Management. Of course, other concentration option classes may be taken through Troy's eCampus in a distance learning format, offering further flexibility.

The objectives of the MBA program, whether applied to general management or within specialized fields of  business such as accounting or information systems management, are to develop in students the ability to:

  • develop problem solving skills required in a dynamic and uncertain business environment

  • synthesize and apply knowledge, theories and concepts from various business disciplines in their problem solving analysis

  • identify and develop alternative problem solutions

  • evaluate and choose from among the alternatives identified

  • effectively communicate the results of their analyses

MBA Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or accounting or equivalent (Uni, FH, BA)

  • Official transcripts from all universities attended

  • Letter of recommendation

  • Acceptable GMAT or GRE test scores
